Bud: Our best guess is that Bud is a Chihuahua/Terrier mix. He is tan and white with a black muzzle. He is about a year old and weighs about twenty pounds. As you can see, he probably should lose a few pounds. This neutered male loves other dogs and will make a great companion dog. He is a good size to fit on your lap. He is smaller in person than he appears in this flier.
Currently, Bud is at the Craven Correctional Institution being trained by an inmate on basic obedience and agility as well as crate trained, leash trained and housebroken. He will be ready for his new home and family at graduation on July 9th. Would you like to bring this cute little boy home?
Luna: Pretty Luna is a black and white Border Collie/Corgi mix. This little girl is about two years old and weighs 19 pounds. She is high energy and needs to be with an active family so she doesn’t get bored. She is good with dogs, kids and cats.
Luna is currently in the New Leash on Life program at the Craven Correctional Institution where she is learning basic obedience and agility, house manners, crate and leash training. She will be ready for her new home at graduation on July 9th.
Stella: Stella is a pretty black, tan and white Beagle mix. She is a great family dog and loves both kids and other dogs. Maybe not cats. She is about a year old and ready for her forever home. She will need a fenced in yard so that she does not wander. If you are looking for a high energy family dog, Stella is the dog for you. Your children will have the rest of the summer to play with her and bond before going back to school.
Stella is currently in the New Leash on Life program at the Craven Correctional Institution where she is learning basic obedience and agility, house manners, crate and leash training. She was turned into the shelter because her family did not have time for her. She will be ready to move into her new and forever home at graduation on July 9th.
Katie: What a special girl Katie is. She is a Jack Russell/Pomeranian mix. This spayed female is 1.5 years old and very lovable. She has never met a person (man or woman) that she doesn’t like. She is brown and white and weighs about twenty pounds. She gets along great with other dogs. Katie uses a doggie door and with her high energy this will save you many trips to the door to let her in and out. Katie is a real love dog and will keep you entertained.
Katie is currently in the New Leash on Life program at the Craven Correctional Institution where she is being trained by prison inmates to be housebroken, crate trained, leash trained and given basic obedience training.
