Installation of first “Born Learning Trail” at Kidsville Park

United Way of Coastal Carolina

The United Way of Coastal Carolina Board of Directors and Staff are excited that the day has arrived for the installation of our first Born Learning Trail at Kidsville Park.

The Born Learning Trail signs were made possible by the generosity of Ken & Dru Wilkins. Lumber, plants and volunteers to install the signage are being sponsored by BB&T Craven County Lighthouse Project. Volunteers will work on United Way of Coastal Carolina’s Day of Action 2016: Wednesday, June 15 & Thursday, June 16 to clean, plant new shrubs and flowers, spread mulch and install posts for the Born Learning Signs.

There will be two shifts on both days from 9:00am until 12:00pm and 2:00pm until 5:00pm. A ribbon cutting will take place on Thursday, June 16 at 4:30pm. The public is invited to volunteer as well as attend the ribbon cutting.
