3 on 3 Basketball Tournament coming to Havelock in March to benefit Promise Place, the sexual assault resource center serving men, women and children in Craven, Jones and Pamlico Counties.
We are looking for participants, sponsors and vendors. The details are below:
Who: Promise Place
What: 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament
When: Saturday, March 21, 2015 (Rain date is April 18th)
Where: Walter B. Jones Park in Havelock – courts at Havelock Elementary School, Havelock Middle School and Roger Bell Elementary will also be used during the tournament.
Youth 8-14 years old $30/team (16 teams)
Youth 15-18 years old $30/team (24 teams)
Adult 19+ years old $75/team (32 teams)
Registration deadline is Friday, February 27, 2015.

Promise Place is the only sexual assault resource center serving Craven, Jones and Pamlico Counties. Our services are offered to children, teens and adults impacted by the trauma of sexual abuse/assault. Through our advocacy services, clients are given the support and resources needed to navigate the complex road to healing. Trauma-focused therapy is key to a client’s recovery from the effects of sexual abuse/assault.
