New Bern Area Chamber of Commerce Seeks Beta Testers for New Mobile App

New Bern Chamber of Commerce

The New Bern Area Chamber of Commerce launches new website and will be seeking members that would like to participate in a beta test program for a new mobile app that the Chamber is evaluating.

Over the past year, the chamber has undergone some very positive changes in an effort to better engage and promote its membership community. “In the summer, we began a two month database conversion from our old member management system that was nearly ten years old and entered into a contract with Chamber Masters, one of the nation’s leading chamber management systems and web development companies. A web development committee was formed in early spring with the goal being, to solicit bids to develop a new web site. As it turned out, not only could Chamber Masters develop the most affordable web design, but they also were able to provide a much needed database upgrade.” States, Kevin Roberts, President, New Bern Area Chamber of Commerce.

The new website is designed to provide our members and community, along with visitors, a wealth of information on the benefits of a Chamber membership (business or personal), the community, economic development and advocacy programs that the chamber will continue to build upon in the New Year.

Currently, the Chamber is seeking members that would like to volunteer to participate in a beta test program for a new mobile app that will be launched in 2015. If you are a member, and would like to take part in the program, please contact Amanda Campbell by email or feel free to call the Chamber office directly at 252-637-3111.

Located in beautiful historic downtown New Bern at 316 S. Front Street, the New Bern Area Chamber of Commerce serves to positively cultivate economic stability for the local community by partnering with local businesses to promote and engage its members so they are positioned not only to succeed, but thrive. For information about the benefits of membership, please contact the chamber at 252-637-3111.
