This high honor was awarded at the 2012 Association of Bridal Consultants annual conference in Denver, Colorado. Pam was interviewed and juried by a panel of Master consultants from across the country. Her Master’s wedding portfolio and presentation showcased a beach wedding in Emerald Isle.
Pam is North Carolina’s first and only Master Bridal Consultant and one of only 70 Master Bridal Consultants in the world. Master Bridal Consultant™ is the highest level of achievement for the Association of Bridal Consultants.
Candidates must complete a rigorous schedule of continuing education and participation developed by The Association and be recognized for their outstanding performance, creativity, knowledge, leadership, media exposure and related activities. Since 1955, The Association of Bridal Consultants has been the professional organization for the wedding industry. They have over 4,000 members in 26 countries on six continents. They are a membership service organization, designed to increase awareness of the wedding business and improve the professionalism of members. Membership is open to all wedding-related vendors. Pam is also a Certified Sandals Specialist, Vice President with North Carolina’s Wish Upon a Wedding, Co-director of the Association of Bridal Consultants, Local Networking Group, member of the New Bern Chamber of Commerce, Dinner Chairman for the Coastal Women’s Forum, and is an instructor for the Wedding Planning Institute’s Wedding & Event Planner Course. Pam obtained her ordination credentials through The Ministerial Seminary of America. and is a member of the American Association of Wedding Officiants. She has also created her own designer wedding keepsake certificates on Etsy and eBay
She keeps abreast of the latest trends through continuing education and publications and attendance at ABC national and state conferences and local networking groups as well as various other trade events. She has often presented seminars at these conferences. Pam is known for being fun and calm at her events.
