Thanks to Robin Beilby of Acupuncture Works for telling me about Bear Essentials, an organic and natural products store located Downtown New Bern.
In the mood to promote another local business; I brought my camera along for my first trip to Bear Essentials.
Owners, Dorry Cottrell and Russell Carter, were very hospitable and happy to tell me about their unique, environment friendly shop. Bear Essentials has been in business for five years and specializes in Dr. Hauschka skin care products and organic baby clothing.
They also sell a wide range of organic products and clothing to include oils, soy candles, bath and beauty supplies, herbal teas, chocolates, cards, health snacks, specialty drinks, music CDs, and an assortment of other goods.
Bear Essentials also has a Certified Esthetician and a Licensed Massage Therapist available to provide Dr. Hauschka facials and massage treatments. Please call them to schedule an appointment at 252-637-6663.
Attend a Bear Essentials Facial Party on the 2nd Friday of the month. These parties provide Dr. Hauschka free facials, raffles, and serve organic tea and jam. RSVP now and reserve your spot!
