>The Child Care Resource and Referral Program (CCR&R) of Craven Smart Start will be hosting their third Baby & Children Clothing Swap on April 13, 2010, from 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm in their office, located at 1917 Trent Boulevard in New Bern.
The swap will provide parents with the opportunity to exchange children’s clothing items that are too small or are no longer worn for other clothing items for their children. The swap will include clothing for children from newborn to children’s size 12, including shorts, skirts, shirts, shoes, school uniforms, dancewear and sportswear. All clothing must be clean and ready to wear.
Parents who want to participate in the clothing swap may bring their clothing, sized and separated by gender, to CCRR on April 13th. There is no charge to participate.
Donations of clothing, especially for schoolage children, is welcome. Any items that are left over from the swap will be donated to local charities that work with families in need. For more information, call (252) 672-5921.
