Craven County Partners In Education was recently presented with several donations to support the Stuff the Bus event. It is through generous community partnerships that Stuff the Bus is able to meet the needs of those students who have been identified as in-need in Craven County Schools.

Savages Wood Burning Pizzeria contributed pizzas and coupons for the Walmart at the Neuse Blvd. collection site (feature photo);
Toyota of New Bern employees presenting the donations collected at their dealership;
New Bern Civitan Club presenting a $250 check (Jan Snyder, Civitan President; Ervin Patrick, PIE Past President; and Darlene Brown, PIE);
Craven County employees contributed $495 (Carlye McCoy (Craven County), Ira Whitford (Craven County), Dr. Ervin Patrick (PIE past president), Patti McDaniel (Craven County), and Darlene Brown (PIE);
Governor Roy Cooper held his 2nd Annual Governor’s Annual School Supply Drive. SECU was the drop off location and PIE disbursed the supplies for Craven County (Abby Heath, Ieisha Green, and LaRick Northern with SECU);
Twin Rivers Lions Club donated $100 the day of event (Kim Scott, PIE board member and David Stoeckert, Lions Club).
