Boat and Kayak Divisions
This is the only all artificial tournament in Eastern NC that showcases the four most sought after species in the Neuse River – flounder, speckled trout, red drum, and striped bass.
The tournament benefits the basic needs in our community by providing food, shelter, and clothing to those in need. The Neuse River Backwater Open helps by raising funds and fresh, locally caught fish for RCS’s community kitchen.
Cash and prizes are awarded to the top seven places.
Entry fee is $100 per boat team and $50 per kayak angler with an optional $20 for the Big Fish Pot.
