We caught up with Pastor Loretta Williams of the Christian Outreach Ministries of New Bern to learn more about their free Thanksgiving Dinner they provide to our community. Listen to our interview with Pastor Williams here:
On Thanksgiving Day, the Christian Outreach Ministries of New Bern is preparing a family sit down dinner for approximately 100 people at 12:00pm. They’ll have a typical Thanksgiving Dinner with turkey, stuffing, potatoes, collard greens, and all the fixings.
They’ve been doing this every year in the Sunnyside area of New Bern.
It’s free to the public. Please call ahead so they can make plans on how much food to prepare.
They’re located at 201 Ellington St. off of Oaks Rd. in Downtown New Bern.
They don’t want anyone to miss out on Thanksgiving Dinner because they can’t get there so they’re offering limited transportation.
