It’s hard to find a pet friendly place at the beach. The Atlantis isn’t only pet friendly, but it has incredible oceanfront views, is very clean, and relaxing.
If you don’t have pets, you won’t even know one stayed in your room.
They have a no barking policy as I found out the hard way. My dog, Boo, doesn’t usually bark when he’s left alone unless someone rings the door bell. He was in rare form one day as he was left alone for 30 minutes and the Atlantis called to tell me that he was barking for awhile. I returned to the room right away. I respect the management as they stay on top of things so all guests can enjoy their stay. I won’t make that mistake again.
General Manager, Donna Hall Nally and her team go out of their way to provide a tranquil and accommodating atmosphere. You know when it’s a great place to stay when the guests are very friendly and happy.

Enjoy comfortable beds and linens, kitchenettes and private patios or balconies. They are equipped with Wi-Fi, hairdryers, cable television, soap/shampoo, kitchenettes, private patios/balconies, beach chairs/umbrellas, DVDs, gas grill, and along with expected amenities.
The boardwalk takes you within steps to the Atlantic Ocean! In the warm months, they have beach attendants on duty to set up umbrellas and lounge chairs at no charge.
Take advantage of their luxury recreation-meeting-game room with a card/game/poker table, board games, pool table, library, ping-pong table, lounge, large flat screen television, and wrap around deck that leads you to the rooftop sunbathing and observation deck.
The lobby has a variety of souvenirs, brochures from local attractions and businesses, and fresh coffee. The Atlantis team is more than accommodating and will help you with any questions you may have about the area!
Although it’s a bit chilly for a dip in the pool, it’s an oasis in the warmer months. It’s a perfect spot to sunbath and/or enjoy shade under the canopy of trees.
Special memories of the Atlantis Lodge: sitting on the balcony and watching a large variety of birds flock to the foliage and bird feeders; walking the beach and finding beautiful seashells; Falling asleep to the ocean sounds; meeting people from around the world; watching the sunset…these are only a handful and I’m looking forward to enjoying many more!
