The Fairfield Harbour Garden Club’s membership is open to anyone in the “neighborhood” of Fairfield Harbour.  In addition to garden enthusiasts, our membership includes beginning gardeners, new homeowners, and Master Gardeners. Fairfield Harbour Garden Club seeks to provide for its members a broad range of activities and information, including gardening information, landscaping principles, floral design, garden tours, and community projects. Monthly meetings are generally held the second Monday of the month at 9:30 A.M. from September to June, except December (Children’s Christmas Party). Speakers present topics of interest to gardeners and several special events are held during the Club year to give members “hands on” experience.

Community projects include selecting the Yard of the Month, installing Christmas decorations, maintaining the Booty Lane garden, conducting a Christmas Party for special needs children from local schools, to name a few.  The Club also participates in the annual New Bern Historical Society Home & Garden Tour and New Bern Ghost Walk by sponsoring a house and providing docents and floral arrangements.

Fairfield Harbour Garden Club is the largest garden club in Craven County.  Our major projects and events cannot be accomplished without the active participation of our members.  We invite you to join us at our monthly meetings and get involved!   It’s a great way to meet new people with whom you already have something in common – the love of GARDENING.

Enjoy OUR Garden Club website and check out the Programs and Speakers tab to see what’s scheduled:  http://fhgardenclub.webs.com/.

If you have any questions, email:  fhgardenclub@yahoo.com or come to the next scheduled meeting and see if you would like to be a part of the membership.
