The huge wooden bear sculpture has a new home at Ratio Theatre’s Front Room Cabaret Cafe Club at 901 Pollock Street!
Created by artist Jodi Hollnagel-Jubran and other volunteers for the 2011 Craven Arts Festival in the Riverfront Convention Center, the sculpture was on display in front of Persimmons Restaurant. Thanks to the City’s Public Works Department, “the Bear” was relocated to the Ratio Theatre Company on 901 Pollock Street.
Among comedians, poets, music and jazz, enjoy the culture of New Bern at this lively new venue. In the photo above, Phil and Andrea Owens share their talents with a jazz performance.
You can see the bear in the lot at Ratio’s Front Room Cabaret Cafe Club! Enjoy live entertainment and hors d’oeuvres every Friday night when the Front Room Cabaret Cafe Club opens its doors at 7:00; shows start at 8:00. Call (252) 626-0358 to get on the list, or visit our Ratio Theatre’s website, sign-up for the mailing list and check-off “Front Room Cabaret Cafe Club” as one of your interests. Stay hip, Daddy-O!
