The Vanceboro Youth Girls Volleyball League, held at Vanceboro Farm Life Elementary School will have registration on August 28th and 30th, as well as September 4th and 6th from 6:30 – 8:00pm.
Practices start on Tuesday, September 11th. All games are held at Vanceboro Farm Life on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting in October.
Registration fee is $40 per child and is open for ages 7-13.

The Craven County Youth Girls Volleyball League, held at HJ Macdonald Middle School will begin registration Saturday, September 8th from 10am – 2pm and September 9th from 1pm – 3pm at the New Bern Mall.
Registration forms can also be filled out at the Craven Country Recreation and Parks offices. Cost for the league is $45 per person.
Girls ages 8 – 16 are eligible, games and practices are held on Saturdays and Sundays September – December.

Craven’s Got Talent – Saturday, September 29th, Special Olympics Craven County, along with the New Bern and Tryon Civitans will host Craven’s Got Talent.
This Variety show will feature several local acts as well as some new and exciting acts to make for a night of affordable, family fun.
Tickets for the show are $5 and are on sale at various locations in New Bern. Please call for details. 100% of the proceeds go to benefit Special Olympics athletes of Craven County.
The show will be held at Grover C. Fields Middle School; the doors open at 6pm and the show starts at 7pm.

Fall Yoga Class – Craven County Recreation & Parks Department is offering a brand new Yoga class this fall.
Classes will be held weekly on Thursdays at Vanceboro Farm Life Elementary School. Cost for the class is $70 for 10 weeks. Class will be held in the Physical Education room at Vanceboro Farm Life School.
