Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship and Awards Committee will be holding a “Unity Parade Celebration”, Saturday, January 16. Parade route: starts at corner of Trent Rd & First St, continues to Pollock St to Queen. Turn right on Queen St to Broad. Turn right on East Front St. Parade will disband at Union Point Park where a unity prayer will be held. Line up 10am (Fort Totten Park). Parade starts 12:Noon sharp.
Sunday, January 17: The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship and Awards Committee “ANNUAL BANQUET” is being held at New Bern Riverfront Convention Center. Keynote speaker: Presiding Bishop Richard Keith Thompson.
