The conversation of “living life with color” came up. If you know me, you know that I’m 100% natural – what you see is what you get. I never thought I would say it, but I kind of miss my bright red hair that haunted me as a kid! It’s turning gray at a rapid pace. I admit that I’ve wandered down the beauty aisle in a store and considered “washing out the gray”, but was afraid I’d end up with blue hair. After talking with Jennifer and Michelle, I learned that many people make the mistake of trying to color their own hair and it takes a few treatments to fix. Don’t make that mistake! Let the ladies at Amici Salon help you “live life with color”!
Since visiting, two of my friends had their hair colored and styled by Amici Salon and were very satisfied with the outcome.
Active in the community, I was happy to meet their team at New Bern’s “Get Your Pink On” cancer awareness event. Amici Stylist, Laura Kendrick, took the lead as spokeswoman during the video. The ladies were doing pink hair chalking to help spread awareness and celebrate hope for a cure.
Join them during their open house on November 9th from 2pm – 5pm! Meet their team, learn about their products and services, enjoy wine and hors d’oeuvres, and who knows, you may get lucky to win some professional products. Don’t miss the special performance by Bryan Mayer!
Amici Salon is a drop off location for TBC/Christmas in a Shoebox and they’re also taking donations to help Chris Wimmer beat cancer. There will be a 9 Ball Pool Tournament Benefit at Mickey Milligan’s on November 3, 2013 at 1pm.
Hours of operation are: Tuesday – Saturday: 8pm – 7pm.
