The Sixth Annual Local Authors Luncheon, sponsored by the American Association of University Women (AAUW), will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2013, at 11:30 AM.
The Twin Rivers Branch of AAUW has invited ten local authors to the Chelsea Restaurant for lunch and book signing. This year’s authors are Helen Aitken, Kenneth L. Capps, Sherrie Cox, Devyn Dawson, Bethany Faith, Bettye Goodman Green, (Ed) Earl Mills, Jack Robinson, Phil Scearce, and Robert L. Van Kirk. Their writings include fiction, non-fiction, humor, poetry, local history, and autobiography.
Proceeds benefit Craven Community College scholarships for non-traditional women students.
