New Bern Get Your Pink On is kicking off Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a “Simply Southern Brunch” on Saturday, September 19 from 11:00am – 1:00pm in Downtown New Bern.
We had the opportunity to interview Beth Fairchild and talk about this special event. Listen to what Beth had to say:
Special guest will be Beth Fairchild, a New Bern mother, wife, artist, business owner and fearless advocate for breast cancer research. Beth will be featured in the October edition of Glamour magazine to talk about her diagnosis of metastatic breast cancer and her admirable involvement with MetaVivor.org and New Bern Get Your Pink On.
This is a great opportunity to meet other supporters and learn how our efforts are gaining national recognition. Find out how you can be part of something that makes a difference in so many lives!
Tickets are required for the event with a minimum donation of $100 per person. All proceeds will benefit local cancer patients by providing funding for critical care and research. Tickets available online at www.NewBernGetYourPinkOn.com.
