New Bern High Teacher is Selected to Present at National Conference

Gayle HardyNew Bern, NC – AVID, Advancement Via Individual Determination, announced Mrs. Gayle Hardy, New Bern High School AVID Coordinator and Elective Teacher, will be one of three speakers selected to present at the 2019 Summer Institute Conference in Philadelphia on July 15-17th, 2019.

This is an amazing achievement for New Bern High School and Craven County Schools to have one of our committed, respected, and dedicated educators selected for this prestigious opportunity.  Mr. Jerry Simmons, New Bern High School Principal shares, “The New Bern High School family is so very proud of Gayle Hardy and this accomplishment. Understanding that when Gayle speaks to over 4000 in the Philadelphia audience and the countless more witnessing remotely, she embodies the spirit of our Bears communities and our experiences during this 6-year trek.
