The Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill Triangle Chapter of the Antique and Classic Boat Society announced today that it is hosting an antique and class boat show at the Bridgeton Harbor Marina 1101 B Street in Bridgeton on Saturday October 6, 2018. Antique and classic boats will be on display both on land and in the water.
This event is free to the public from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the day of the show. Owners of these boats work hard to preserve these beautiful examples of craftsmanship from an earlier time. Gleaming brightwork, polished chrome, and reflective hulls will cause you to reach for your sunglasses. The throaty roar of the old engines will perk up your ears. And the owners will talk your arm off telling stories of the joys of restorations and how they came to acquire their boats.
So, don’t miss this opportunity to see these lovely works of art!
