The 13th annual Neuse River Bridge Run takes place on March 24, 2018, in Historic New Bern, North Carolina, with a Kids Fun Run on March 23. Featuring several race options, the 10k and half marathon takes runners over the full span of the 65 foot tall Neuse River Bridge.
The Neuse River Bridge Run serves our community by promoting a healthy, active lifestyle and through its financial support of community organizations. Last year, 1,600 people participated! Over 100,000 residents of eastern North Carolina are served by the seven beneficiaries: Craven Community College Foundation, Religious Community Services, Mediation Center of Eastern Carolina, Craven Arts Council and Gallery, MERCI Clinic, Promise Place, and Twin Rivers YMCA.
Course distances include a half-marathon, 10K or 5K race. Participants who wish to walk may choose the 5K route only. All courses are USATF certified and runners are chip-timed.
