Bern Pilates Moves to Dunn Building

Bern PilatesBern Pilates, a fully-equipped Stott Pilates studio, is excited to announce its move from the Kress Building on Middle Street to 250 Pollock Street. The new location can be found on the second floor above Peacock’s Plume, on the corner of Craven and Pollock Streets, in the historic Dunn Building.

Bern Pilates caters to clients at any fitness level and instructors can tailor the programs offered to fit specific needs. It is a fully-equipped Stott Pilates studio offering private, semi-private, and group Pilates sessions and also features state-of-the-art Merrithew equipment—Reformers, Cadillac, Stability Chairs, and Barrels.

Owner and New Bern native Maureen Rose began practicing Pilates after the birth of her children and says her positive experience with training encouraged her to further her knowledge and become an instructor. She enjoys working with clients to help them achieve optimal stability and strength while encouraging a healthier lifestyle. Rose is a fully-certified Stott Pilates instructor in Matwork, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrels; certified in Injury & Special Populations and Total Barre, and teaches both private equipment and group classes.

“I’m thrilled with the move because we will be able to expand our class sizes and schedule,” commented Rose. “Our entire team looks forward to welcoming experienced practitioners and those completely new to the practice. No matter your fitness level, we can work with you to transform the way your body looks, feels, and performs.”
