ARTcrawl on January 8th from 5pm – 8pm
Community Artist Will (CAW) is looking forward to welcoming in 2016 with an abundance of creativity! The New Year brings both new ideas and new talent. CAW is proud to announce two new artists in our studios in the CAW Center for the Arts, located at 415 Broad Street. Susan Cheatham and Karen Rawson will be on site to welcome you and show you their work. Both Sandy Bruno and Eileen Wroe will be in their studios as well, with wine and goodies!
Wendy Johnson of Wendy Dawn Designs is a lamp worker who makes class beads that are made into jewelry and useful tools. She specializes in moon, beach and lighthouse landscapes and will be working at the gallery for the evening.
Gail Warwick is a local artist that does home decor paintings and coordinating pillows as well as watercolor pet portraits and architectural portraits. She will be at the Center for the Arts, as well as Saturday from 12pm until 4pm. While there, she will be discussing how to take pictures of pets that capture their personalities. Examples of her paintings will be on display.
While she is not firing up her kiln for this month, Michaelé Rose Watson will still be greeting visitors in her studio between CAW and the Red Shoe Gallery.
Arden Lindey will be at the Stardust Gallery presenting newly released limited edition prints, her two newest paintings, and will also have on display vintage 1890’s style Core Sound decoys by Otto Floreschutz, Jr.
Lisa Bisbee Lentz will be in the Greater Good Gallery at 128 Craven demonstrating oil painting techniques with Carol Jones, Lee hood and Jon Derby.
