10-percent discount on One Day and Galleries passes with donation
All visitors who bring an unwrapped toy to Tryon Palace as a donation to Toys for Tots will receive a 10-percent discount on regular admission One Day Passes and Galleries Passes.
Donation boxes are located in the North Carolina History Center and the Waystation at the corner of George and Pollock streets. This offer will last through Saturday, Dec. 19.
Founded in 1947 by a retired U.S. Marine, Toys for Tots collects new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distributes those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.
