Interactive crafts and activities, living history demonstrations on September 19
Families, teachers and children of all ages are invited to enjoy Tryon Palace’s Fall Festival, held 10am to 5pm, Saturday, September 19.
Offered programs include interactive craft activities, blacksmith and cooking demonstrations and a “Day in the Life” at Tryon Palace’s 19th-century Hay House.
Admission is included with the purchase of a One-Day Pass ($20 adults, $10 youth, free kindergarten and younger), which includes access to the Governor’s Palace, North Carolina History Center, gardens and historic homes.
Free admission will be granted to educators who provide a valid form of teacher ID – includes public, private and home school educators – and accompanying family members will receive discounted admission.
