On Friday, May 25, the last Contra Dance of the season will be held in New Bern. Some English country dances will be included – come one, come all and kick up your heels!
No prior experience is required, and you don’t need to bring a partner. Teens and children are welcome. The beginner’s lesson is at 7:00 p.m., and the dancing will run from 7:30 until 10:00. The May dance features Simon Spalding of New Bern and Pat Pertalion of Greenville.
The dance will be held in the Ministry Center of Christ Episcopal Church at 311 Middle Street. Admission is $7 per person, $5 for full-time students and children.
