While attending the dedication ceremony of the Latham-Whitehurst Nature Park, I learned about the North Carolina Clean Water Management Trust Fund (CWMTF) efforts.
Listen to guest speaker, Richard Rogers, Executive Director of CWMTF, as he talks about “the protection of surface water quality” in the above video.
They are working hard to improve water quality by reducing pollution in NC’s lakes, rivers, streams, and creeks.
The CWMTF is supported by the NC Governor and General Assembly. They provide grants to protect, maintain, and improve our waterways.
