Through a partnership with Partners In Education, Chef Smoke and the staff at The Flame generously donated a portion of their proceeds from their New Year’s Eve Celebration to three educators whose names were drawn from those nominated the night of the event.
All monies dispersed will be used in the classroom. Partners In Education is an educational foundation that provides grant funding and special programs to classrooms and schools within the Craven County School system.
Dorothy Pittman, Teacher’s Assistant at Ben D. Quinn Elementary School, was the second winner to receive a check.
