U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), in conjunction with N.C. Division of Cultural Resources, will host a naturalization ceremony recognizing 25 of North Carolina’s newest candidates for U.S. Citizenship. The ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. in the Cullman Performance Hall at the North Carolina History Center in New Bern. U.S. District Judge Louise W. Flanagan will administer the Oath of Allegiance.
Major Gen. Thomas A. Braaten, U.S. Marine Corps, Ret., will provide a keynote address. The Richard Dobbs Spaight Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will collect voter registration forms outside of the Hall after the ceremony.
