The 7th Annual Reach for the Stars Gala and Winter Ball was held January 27th at the O.Marks Building. The event attracted nearly 300 attendees and featured alumnus and country music artist, Bryan Mayer, as the event’s guest speaker. Featured are the event’s Galaxy Level sponsors, (1st photo) Buzzy Stubbs of Stubbs Perdue-Attorneys At Law, Reba Alyward, Saint Paul parishioner, along with (2nd photo) Drs. Thomas and Tyler Hagan and the staff members of In Stride Costal Carolina Foot and Ankle. Also featured is Saint Paul Catholic Church pastor, Father Thomas Tully, Dick Dodson, Saint Paul Parish Council and Board Member, and Millissa True, Gala Co-Chair. Not pictured is Becky Bengel, Gala Co-Chair, who could not be present for the photo.
The event raised just under $70,000. The funds raised benefit the school’s fine arts enrichment and creative technology programs. In recent years, Saint Paul has substantially expanded the school’s fine arts program electives and will now also have the ability to further the school’s creative technologies.
