To Honor and Remember in a more Personal way the Brothers and Sisters of the NYPD, Port Auth PD and the FDNY Who gave the Supreme Sacrifice on Sept 11th, 2001.
Anyone wanting to “adopt” one of over 403 American Flags, that has a name or picture, and assignment of each the Sept 11th, 2001 Heroes can do so.
The “Adoption Center” will be set up in front of the New Bern Convention Center, 1pm to 3pm on Sunday, Oct 9th, 2011.
Also requested, I am asking all who are willing to “Adopt” one of these Hero’s, to write a “letter of love” to either the FDNY, NYPD or the PAPD.
A Donation is also requested to one of two NC Foundations for Public Safety Personnel. The NC Fallen Firefighter Foundation and The NC Officer Down Memorial Fund to help assist the Families of NC Public Safety Officers who lose their lives in the Line of Duty.
