New Bern Get Your Pink On (NBGYPO) is now accepting sponsorship applications for their annual community event taking place on March 30 from 5 – 7pm at the Isaac Taylor Garden in downtown New Bern. Hundreds are expected to gather for the event which celebrates cancer patients, survivors and caretakers, while also providing much needed cancer education and awareness.
Funds raised at the event will directly benefit the local efforts of CCHC New Bern Cancer Care, CarolinaEast Foundation Health System and other local cancer support organizations. NBGYPO will also utilize the funds to help execute their ongoing local outreach programs.
“We feel strongly that our work should support the patients living right here in our area,” stated Thea Kincaid, Founder of NPGYPO.
There are several sponsorship levels, including both monetary and in-kind support. You can also purchase a luminary in memory or in honor of friend, family member or loved-one. The luminaries will be displayed at the event.
“Whether you would like to purchase a luminary, have a product to donate for our raffle, or would like to be a prominently featured financial supporter, we appreciate all levels of support,” stated Kincaid.
For more information about being a sponsor, please contact Jennifer Bertling at 252-259-2041. The deadline to be included on printed materials is February 15. To learn more about NBGYPO, please visit NewBernGetYourPinkOn.com.
