Ray’s Airport Send-off Celebration Scheduled on Sunday, August 9
Coastal Carolina Regional Airport will help make Ray’s wish to meet NBA superstar LeBron James become a reality. Ray, 17, who has a congenital cardiac condition, will depart from the airport along with his family the morning of Sunday, August 9. All media are invited to attend the airport send-off celebration which will begin at 8 am.
Ray’s wish is one of the more than 200 wishes that Make-A-Wish® Eastern North Carolina will help grant during the year. Nearly 200 more children in the 49 counties of eastern North Carolina are currently waiting for their one true wish.
