The New Bern Board of Aldermen have voted to officially re-establish an advisory committee to oversee the city’s Municipal Service District, the downtown commercial and residential corridor that pays an additional tax for improvements to the area. The new Municipal Service District
Due to citizens voicing their concern, at the January 24, 2023 Board of Aldermen meeting the board voted 5 to 2 to postpone the vote for the final sale of 304 and 308 South Front Street (the Talbots Lot) until the regularly
