Clear out those piles of paper! For the second year in a row, The UPS Store on Glenburnie Road in New Bern is hosting a Free Shred Day to help customers eliminate paper clutter while protecting their personal information.
On Saturday, March 14th, from 10am – 1pm, customers are invited to bring their sensitive and confidential documents – personal checks, tax returns, etc. to The UPS Store at 1822 South Glenburnie Road (across the street from the Post Office).
All papers will be shredded onsite with secure shredding services provided by Iron Mountain, and all shredded materials will be recycled.
Anyone bringing paperwork to shred is asked to bring a non-perishable food item to be donated to Religious Community Services.
The Free Shred Day at The UPS Store is intended for personal items only and is not for commercial or small business use.
“We offer secure document shredding services every day, all year round,” said Pat Drake, owner of The UPS Store. “Our Shred Days are a fun way to let customers know about this service and give them a chance to unload some of their paper clutter for free.”
