The 5th Annual Rocking For Relief Homeless Veterans Webcast Concert is on November 11th at 7 p.m. Watch the concert on PeaceSoldierBand.com where you can also donate. The bands include: Tif & Fern Nashville Recording Artists, Afreyed Knot Classic Acoustic Rock, Peace Soldier National Recording Artists, and Headliner: Idlewild South Allman Brothers Band Tribute. Partners In Education was recently awarded $2,000 from Twin Rivers Artists Association (TRAA) to be used for grant money for art teachers in Craven County Schools. The grants are awarded to art teachers based on imaginative and creative art programs for their students. Craven Arts Council & Gallery is now accepting applications for North Carolina CARES for Arts grants through November 9, 2020. The North Carolina General Assembly designated $9.4 million federal CARES Act funds for arts councils and arts organizations to mitigate business disruptions caused by COVID-19. The North Carolina Arts Council will distribute these funds on a per-capita basis to all North Carolina counties with a population of less than one million people.
