Magnolia Jane Salon is hosting a Cut-a-thon to benefit local cancer support networks. They recently lost a very special Salon guest, Amber Patsky, and they are doing this in her memory.
Their cut-a-thon is on Monday, March 16th from 9am – 6pm at Magnolia Jane Salon located at 236-D Middle St.(on the backside of Middle St. facing Morgan’s Tavern and Grill) in Downtown New Bern.
They will be offering discounted services (haircuts for $30, mini-manicures for $10). Those who will be donating their hair (8 inches or more) will receive a complementary haircut and a $20 gift certificate.
They will also be collecting items for cancer care packages like chapstick, hand sanitzers and lotions, Kleenex, personalized cards, crossword puzzles, hard candies and other items for cancer patients.
100% of the proceeds will be donated to New Bern Get Your Pink On and the Amber Patsky’s Fund.
Appointments aren’t required, but suggested.
