Are you looking for something to do to ring in the New Year? Here’s a list of happenings to help you decide:

Applebee’s Grill & Bar: New Year’s Eve Party from 9pm – 2am, 3450 Dr MLK Jr Blvd., 637-8050

Bambooz Tiki Bar and Bridgepointe Banquet Room: New Year’s Eve Ball with live music by Jim Kohler Band (Blues) and Supersonic “The Party Revolution” Band (80’s music) from 9pm – 2am. Catering by Triple Play Restaurant and Bar (pizza and wings and breakfast pizza at 1am. Reserve a room at the Bridgepointe Hotel under “New Year’s Eve Room”. Limo will be shuttling people from Bambooz to the Diamond Club and Triple Play. Location: 101 Howell Rd., 633-2745.

The Brown Pelican Pub: Red Hot New Year party. Wear red and feel free to bring a covered dish from 12pm – 2am. Location: 411 Broad St., 631-5008.

It’s a DoubleTree New Year’s Eve at Christoph’s Lounge and in the Grand Ballroom: Dance Party with DJ Chuck Colb and live performance by Trainwreck. Reserve a room at the DoubleTree under “New Year’s Eve Party Package”. Location: Inside DoubleTree by Hilton, 100 Middle St., 638-3585.

The Diamond Club: Enjoy music by DJ Danny B from and catering by Triple Play Restaurant and Bar (pizza and wings). Limo will be shuttling people from Bambooz Tiki Bar to the Diamond Club and Triple Play. Location: 1100 Hwy 70 E., 671-4838.

Mesh Sports Lounge: New Year’s Eve Party with a “Singles Theme” and open mike night from 5pm – 2am at 2500 Trent Rd., 636-6374.
