Tanner, a native of New Bern, recently graduated from Western Carolina University with a degree in Accounting. While pursuing his degree, Tanner was actively engaged at the intercollegiate level serving as the captain of the Men’s Golf Program at Western. When Tanner isn’t selling insurance, you are most likely to find him on the golf course.
Additionally, Tanner is actively involved in the community and the New Bern Chamber of Commerce. Most recently, he was elected as one of the newest board of director members for the New Bern Young Professionals Group.
In the spring, Tanner will enroll in an advanced study program through American College to pursue the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation. The CLU is the world’s most respected designation of insurance expertise. This prestigious program of study consists of eight in-depth courses focusing on specialized insurance knowledge on the needs of individuals, business owners, and professional clients.
