CarolinaEast Foundation Grants over $50,000 this quarter to local organizations

Due to the generosity of the CarolinaEast Health System employees through the 2011 employee campaign as well as many community businesses and individual donors, the CarolinaEast Foundation is pleased to announce over $50,000 has been granted to local organizations this quarter. Promise Place, RCS, Hope Clinic, Roger R. Bell Elementary School, Staff House, Craven Smart Start, Uptown Business and Professional Association were the local organizations that benefited this cycle. To date this year, $100,000 has been given to local community organizations due to the generosity of our donors. “What a privilege to be able to serve so many wonderful non-profits.” says Lynda Pope, chairperson of the CarolinaEast Foundation Allocation and Disbursements Committee.
