Tugboat Cruises of New Bern is back in business with Captain Jim Ward as the new owner. They run by appointment with 2-6 passenger trips in the local harbor. The following summary was provided by Jim Ward about the cruises:
Enjoy a leisurely, intimate tugboat cruise, hosted by a local captain, along the beautiful Neuse and Trent Rivers or up Brice Creek. Our cruises are designed to fit your interests – wildlife, ogling gorgeous homes, wild party time, interesting local facts and history, insight on the culture that makes New Bern so special.
Whether a visitor or resident, you must take in the beautiful scenery from the vantage of a boat – on the water – to fully appreciate what we have. Our USCG-licensed captains make this ‘More than a boat ride – an ADVENTURE!’ And if you want something special like a romantic escape up to a ride into the sunset after your wedding – we can do that, too!
Located in front of the Doubletree Hotel (Hilton Hotel) within the New Bern Grand Marina on E-dock.
Special charters/custom cruises are available including private ‘Romantic Evenings’.
