>The Krafters Klatch, a part of the North Carolina Cooperative Extension, invites all those interested to attend one of our meetings on the third Wednesdays of the month.
Our meetings begin at 10am in the meeting room of the Cooperative Extension located at 300 Industrial Drive.
Each month we host a program which is informative and interesting to all. Past programs have been on De-cluttering, Talking Trash (information on our landfill) Life Line, Toys for Tots, etc.
Some of the various community projects we work on are: Soda tabs; greeting cards to make fish for eye exams; coupons for our overseas military; soaps and personal items for the Women’s Shelter; various items for the Waccamaw Boys & Girls Home; non-perishable food items for the food bank; making of fidget quilts for nursing home residents; making of breast pillows for Cancer patients; plus many more.
Our program for April will be a Confederate/Yankee cook-off.
If you are interested in using your time to help us help our community, please come to one of our meetings.
