Striped bass will be returning down river towards New Bern post spawn and the fishing can be amazing!
Look for great early and late top water fishing along the shorelines and bridges.
Spotted seatrout have been plentiful this spring so look for specks in the creeks and river shorelines just down river of New Bern.
Fresh water fishing can also be very good with bass, bream, crappie and catfish on the Trent, Brice’s Creek and the Neuse up river of New Bern.
