>Sudan Shriners celebrate Winter Ceremonial Parade in New Bern!

>

We couldn’t have asked for a better day for the Sudan Shriners Winter Ceremonial Parade today!

Hundreds of people lined the streets to watch and support the Sudan Shriners.

Their goal each year is to raise $950 million to fund the treatment of crippled and burned children at Shriners Hospitals for Children.

If you have a child (infant – 18 years of age) in need of orthopedic or burn assistance, ask a Sudan Shriner to help you. They will arrange transportation and treatment.

During today’s parade, the Shriners sold canes, hats, and raffle tickets for a golf cart and utility trailer to help benefit the Shriners Hospitals.

Shriners from across the State gathered for their Winter Ceremonial festivities and participated in the parade.

Some of the parade highlights included: The Legion of Honor, Golden Eagle Corps, Drum and Bugle Corps, Flag Unit, Daredevils, Hillbillies, Dunn Clowns, Tomcats, Animated Animals, Camel Drivers, Thunderbolts, Horse Unit, Steel Drum Corps, a Train and numerous other parade units!

Special thanks to the Shriners for all you do for children and families in need in our community, across the Country, and Internationally!
