“A Stroll Down Memory Lane” Open House & Family History Fair – A day to view family photo memory board displays, to share and learn more about family histories of the area and to connect with family and friends while enjoying punch and homemade cookies.

“Blast Into the Past – Explore Histories Mysteries” Children’s Event
Create Family Trees, Story Time, Fun Activities and Crafts, Meet John Lawson-A New World Explorer

Saturday, August 21st, 10am to 2pm
“Celebrating the Families of New Bern & Craven County” Reunion Luncheon and Program. Gathering of the Descendants of All of the People of New Bern, Craven County and Eastern North Carolina to enjoy a family history presentation, listen to musical entertainment by the Heritage Choir and others, honor Veterans both past and present, and to visit with family and friends while dining on Moore’s Famous BBQ, Fried Chicken and more. Everyone with a connection to the area is welcome.

Reunion Luncheon & Program Tickets are $20.00 per person and will be available starting Wednesday, June 23rd at the New Bern Riverfront Convention Center, 203 South Front Street; the New Bern Marriott Spring Hill Suites, 300 Hotel Drive behind Golden Corral; and Salon 901, Hwy 17/901 D Street, Bridgeton. Cash and Checks are accepted. Please make checks payable to the Family History Society of Eastern North Carolina (FHS of ENC).
