The New Bern-Craven County Public Library’s Adult Summer Reading Program, “Make Waves at Your Library” begins June 14, 2010. Program participants will read or listen to library books of their choosing, submit mini-review forms, and be eligible for great prizes. Prizes include admission or meal tickets to: Tryon Palace; New Bern Trolley; Kinston Indians; Chick-fil-A; Applebee’s; & New Bern Civic Theatre. Neuse River: Life Begins with a Drop of Water
Jake Jacobson, of the Neuse Riverkeeper Foundation, will speak about the Neuse River on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at the New Bern-Craven County Public Library.
